How to make matcha ice cream

This ice cream has an intense matcha flavor. It is not very sweet has a beautiful deep green matcha colour.
  1. Whisk 3 egg yolks, 70 ml of sugar and 20 g of sifted culinary matcha powder in a bowl. Stir in 250 ml of whipped cream (unwhipped).
  2. Heat the mixture to 82 degrees (C).
  3. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Bring to the refrigerator for 10-12 hours.
  4. Pour into a flat dish and place in the freezer, stirring every hour until sufficiently frozen. You can also mix the ice cream with your ice cream machine.
