This ice cream has an intense matcha flavor. It is not very sweet has a beautiful deep green matcha colour.
- Whisk 3 egg yolks, 70 ml of sugar and 20 g of sifted culinary matcha powder in a bowl. Stir in 250 ml of whipped cream (unwhipped).
- Heat the mixture to 82 degrees (C).
- Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Bring to the refrigerator for 10-12 hours.
- Pour into a flat dish and place in the freezer, stirring every hour until sufficiently frozen. You can also mix the ice cream with your ice cream machine.
