Hojicha powder is a powder made from roasted green tea leaves, grown and refined in Japan. It comes from a Uji tea farm which uses only good quality tea leaves to make the powder. Houjicha lacks the bitterness of matcha and tastes toasty and nutty, lightly sweet. The powder has much less caffeine compared to matcha – which is why it is suitable also for evening drink.

Hojicha powder can also be used to make ice cream, latte drink, biscuits, cakes, etc. The powder has superfine texture and it is easy to dissolve/whisk it.

Keep the unopened bag in refrigerator, once opened, in room temperature.
