Please note that the training takes place in Estonian language.
During the training, you will learn how to make matcha tea as it is done in Japan. You can experience the taste of good matcha tea, which is rich in umami, creamy and slightly bitter. Each participant can prepare their own matcha tea. Maximum group size is 6 people.
More specifically, you will learn:
1. What is matcha powder and how is it different from green tea powder.
2. Differences between high and low quality powder. How to recognize good quality matcha powder.
3. Caffeine in matcha vs coffee. Matcha powder and its high L-theanine content.
4. Storage of matcha powder.
5. What is houjicha e. roasted green tea powder.
6. How to make matcha tea the way Japanese tea masters do it.
7. How to make a matcha latte at home.
8. How to make a houjicha latte at home.
The training will take place at the Eklektik art studio on 23.09 at 12:00-14:00. Address Tallinn, Paldiski mnt 25/3, Mayeri business quarter, free parking.
